Dr Mark Rallings
Dr Mark Rallings is a Professorial Research Fellow, Swinburne University of Technology. He is a former commissioner of Queensland Corrective Services, with nearly 15 years corrections experience in Queensland and the UK. Earlier roles included Head of Research and Evaluation of the Sex Offender Treatment Programme, Her Majesty’s Prison Service, UK and Executive Director, Offender Programs and Services, Queensland Corrective Services.
Mark completed a PhD in psychiatry at the University of Queensland on the effects of occupational trauma on police. He has worked as a psychologist for the Queensland Police Service and in private practice. He is also a former Queensland police Officer.
Mark currently holds Adjunct Professor appointments at Griffith University and the University of Queensland, and he is on the board of directors of the Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) and Housing with Conviction (HwC).
